Beauty Box 5 - May 2015 - SOS

I decided to go all in and subscribe to TWO beauty boxes to begin my adventure! I found Beauty Box 5 after some venturing around the internet. The products seem good and the price is great. Here is my first box - SOS.

The little teal box is adorable and it comes with a product card including the product, description and full size pricing.

Bioswiss - stainless steel mini tweezer
value: $5
I guess you can't go wrong with a pair of tweezers. I have my favorite pair, but it those ever go missing I'll have a back up.

Styli- style - blush/highlighter stick in Bittersweet
*Full size* 0.21 oz/ 6g   value: $6
This product provides a variety of uses as a blush and highlighter (maybe more options??). The color is nice but needs to be blended out so it's not too much on your cheeks. I think the stick medium for blush is a bit interesting and definitely needs some application practice.

Dermalogica - Active Moist
0.24 fl oz/ 7 ml   value: $4.50
Here's a brand I know! Dermalogica has a great reputation and this formula is very lightweight. Apply for a nice boost of moisture to your skin.

Coastal Scents - Classic/ synthetic brush
*Full size* value: $2.50
This is quite an inexpensive brush, but it seems to be decent quality. The bristles are not super soft, but the brush provides nice application.

AHAVA/ My Skin Reborn trio-
-Essential day moisturizer: 0.1 fl oz/ 3 ml value: $3.50
-Purifying mud mask: 0.23 oz/ 6g  value: $2
-mineral hand cream: 0.14 fl oz/ 4 ml   value: $1
Each of these come in sample packets, so they are one time use. The brand uses the name "My Skin Reborn" to express the rejuvenated sensation your skin has when using the products. AHAVA has a active Dead Sea mineral formulation to help your skin glow.

What a great first Beauty Box 5 to receive! I'm excited to try out the new products and see what else they have in store (I signed up for the year long subscription). This month's beauty box has a total value of $24.50. Since I'm paying just over $8 a month, I think it's a great value.
