Target - October 2015 - Hello, Beautiful

Target released their beauty box which includes many brands I know and love. There are some favorites I'm excited to try out.

Olly - Beauty Vitamins in Grapefruit Glam

Here's something new I've never tried, gummy beauty vitamins. These vitamins by Olay were absolutely delicious. I could easily eat one (or maybe five) a day.

A girl can always use some good hair elastics. These Goody bands are lined with silicone to grip your hair.


Skinfix - ultra rich body butter

This is the ultimate super quencher for skin that's extremely dry, flaking and rough. Instantly relieve tightness and flaking while deeply penetrating essential moisture. The formula includes shea butter, coconut oil and sunflower oil.

Covergirl - Intensify Me eyeliner in Intense Black

This liquid liner has a paddle shaped tip to give you two looks in one. Hold the paddle flat for a thick, intense line or use the edge for thin and elegant. I found that the design didn't disperse as much eyeliner as I would like. It takes a few swipes to achieve a truly intense eye look.

I love when Target includes a full sized lipstick in their beauty box. This velvety soft formula leaves your lips feeling moisturized.

ROC - Deep Wrinkle Night Cream

I was shocked that Target included this FULL sized ROC night cream, good job!! It works wonderfully at filling out your deep wrinkles. This tube will last you a long time and really give your skin a boost.

ACURE - Moroccan Argan Oil & Stem Cell triple repair shampoo & conditioner
1 fl oz/ 30 ml each   value: $2.50

Organic argan oil and argan stem cells, CoQ10, and sea buckthorn oil-high in Omega 7 make up their Triple Action System. Organic pumpkin seed oil - high in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, adds shine.

This Target beauty box has a total value of $43. The Olly beauty vitamins were yummy and something new to try. I loved the full sized ROC night cream. All the products will be useful and I was happy with the box.

Birchbox - October 2015 - Positive Force

Birchbox's October theme is Positive Force and the box is adorned with a pink marbling effect. I love the different designs Birchbox uses for their boxes every month.

Avene - thermal spring water

There has been a bit of controversy surrounding this simple bottle of water. People are upset water was included as an item in this box. But don't know it until you try it. This spring water is super refreshing and a great way to refresh your makeup without ruining your whole face.

BioRepublic - Cucumber Breeze soothing mask

I received a trio of these masks a few months ago in my IPSY glambag. It's a nice sheet mask and I enjoy the fresh cucumber scent.

Manna Kadar- Lip Locked in Lucky

This three in one lip product has the effects of a primer, lip stain and gloss. This ensures that your pout stays luscious all day.

Oribe - dry texturizing spray
37ml/ 1 oz   value: $10

I have been trying to tease my hair less, so these texturizing sprays are a great alternative. Spray at your roots to build volume and texture.

Stila - Huge Extreme Lash mascara
6ml/ 0.2 fl oz   value: $10

This was my sample choice of for October. I am already a Stila mascara fan so I wanted to try out the Extreme Lash. Just one coat will give you thick, long lashes.

I was not super excited about any individual item in this box. It has a total value of $46.

Beauty Box 5 - October 2015 - Pinktober

Beauty Box 5 decided to go for a play on words for this month. The pink-themed box is accurately deemed "Pinktober".  This box looked adorable as soon as I opened it.

Happy Face - makeup cleansing cloth

This soft cloth removes all your makeup with just water, how crazy!! It reminds me of a baby washcloth. The cloth is chemical free, eco-friendly, reusable, machine washable and can be cleaned with mild soap.

Ferro Cosmetics - pink rhinestone kabuki brush

This adorable little kabuki brush is super soft. The handle is black and adorned with little rhinestone. Another great brush for my beauty routine.

Styli-Style - Perfect Pout long lasting balm stick in Bold Berry

This balm is definitely more purple than pink. I do like how this gives a decent amount of coverage and leaves my lips feeling soft.

Knotty - hair ties in Think Pink

These Knotty hair ties are perfect for throwing your hair up in a pony or messy bun. I love the two tones of pink.

Nubar - nail polish in Pinktober

It's either a cute coincidence or I know where they got the theme name. I love the light pink color of this little nail polish sample.


With four out of five items being full sized, I am really loving this box. I love all the products I received. The total value of this month's beauty box is $43.

IPSY - October 2015 - Alter Ego

This month's IPSY theme is "Alter Ego". The glambag features one side of shiny gold and the opposite is a patent black.

I usually will use BB creams in the summer months since they are lightweight and fairly sheer.  The pur~lisse BB cream includes SPF 30 to protect your delicate face skin from the harsh sun.

theBalm Cosmetics - Meet Matt(e) Hughes liquid lipstick in Committed

I am really hopping on the liquid lipstick band wagon lately. This lipstick is a rich rose color and smells like mint.

Delectable - hand cream in Coconut & Cream
60 ml/ 2 fl oz  value: $4
This hand lotion leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth. The coconut cream scent reminds me of the beach and I love it.

Dose - Color pill nail polish in Stormy

The bottle for this polish is quite unique. I'm not a huge fan since I can't set it down while applying the polish. The color itself is a purple/grey mix that looks very pretty.

My October glambag has a total value of $30. I am happy with all the products. I may save the BB cream for a summer look.
