Beauty Box 5 is diving into the fall season with a "Fall on Fleek" beauty box theme.

Elizabeth Mott - Tints & Sass lip and cheek stain

This formula by Elizabeth Mott is a thick red gel. I see it's listed as a cheek stain as well as lip, but I'm not confident enough to try it on my cheeks. As a lip stain, it produces a bright red hue.


Beautiful Nutrition - Lemon Rinse gentle clarifying treatment

This lemony fresh scented rinse is used as a clarifying treatment for your hair. Restore hair to it's natural glory with lemon extracts that cleanse and tone. It adds natural shines and seals your hair cuticles.


Harvey Prince - Sincerely mini roller

This seductive scent is a complex blend of Indian tuberose, Turkish cyclamen and Spanish mandarin. I did enjoy it and it comes as a roller which I enjoy.


Bellapierre - shimmer powder in Snowflake

This brand uses 100% pure Mica powder to create these long lasting beautiful shimmers. I am loving the striking white hue of the Snowflake powder I received. It is versatile, so I can use it on the insides of my eye, along my brow and on my Cupid's bow to create a beautiful look.


Be a Bombshell - eye crayon in Hangover

This eye shadow crayon is quite large, so it's a great to swipe across your entire eyelid. The Hangover hue is a deep bronze and looks great on the edges of your eyes.


This month's box holds a total value of $65. I really appreciate how many full sized items I receive in my beauty boxes. Although they are not the most expensive brands, I tend to like everything that I've receive through Beauty Box 5.

IPSY - September 2015 - Face Fashion

IPSY decided to go with a "Face Fashion" theme for their September glambag.

The bag itself is a light brown/ golden hue with a herringbone texture along the front.

clariSEA - Rapid Detox Charcoal Exfoliant

This all natural exfoliant vacuums up impurities from deep within pores. Activated Bamboo Charcoal Powder absorbs and grabs dirt and excess oil to eliminate blackheads. Add it to your cleanser or blend just with water. I originally tried just mixing with water and it was too intense for my skin.


First Aid Beauty - Ultra repair cream

This ultra repair cream is recommended for anyone with severely dry, scaly skin due to the harsh winter weather. I'm glad this was given in the September glambag in preparation for the winter months that are quickly approaching.


NYX Cosmetics - IPSY eye shadow trio

NYX Cosmetics teamed up with IPSY to create this eye shadow trio. The colors include a deep brown/black, a slightly shimmery bronze and a shining gold. They all feel velvety smooth and produce great color. I'm already quickly using up the gold hue.


tre'StiQue - mini matte lip crayon in Nantucket Nude

Since receiving my first tre'StiQue product in a beauty box, I'm become quite a fan. I'm loving this nude lip crayon since it seems to be an upcoming trend. It goes on very smoothly. I have always dry lips so the color lasts for awhile but cracks after long wear.


Formula X - nail color in Ignite
4ml/ 0.13 fl oz  value: $3.50

This is one of the smallest samples of nail polish I've ever received. It is enough for a few coats of the dark red hue. Formula X is a great nail polish brand and this color is perfect for fall.


The total of this month's glambag is $31. My favorites from this bag are the eyeshadow trio and the lip crayon. Both have already been used many times.

Glossybox - September 2015 - Fashion Forward

I decided to really jump into my beauty box addition and subscribe to Glossybox as well. I found a coupon code and decided it was time to make the jump.

Glossybox is known for their beautiful packaging and I have to say that this light pink box is stunning.

Each box comes with a card with every item you receive including lengthy descriptions and pricing.

Emite - Artist Color powder blush #108

This is a very deep colored blush, so I've been using it on my cheekbones as a contour. It is a quality powder and stays put all day.

Nails, Inc - nail polish in Uptown

Nails, Inc has a great reputation as a quality nail polish. This color is a neutral pink and looks great for daily wear.

Julep - Luxe up your lips in Sheer Fig

Another brand that people absolutely love! This full size gloss is a tint of purple. When applied, it makes your lips look wet with a barely noticeable purple. I enjoy the kind of weird scent it has but it does easily slide off your lips.

Benefit Cosmetics - They're Real mascara

I've heard of this Benefit mascara but never had the chance to try it. The formula lengthens, curls, volumizes, lifts and separates your lashes. It is a long wear formula to keep your lashes looking fab all day.

Biossance - The Revitalizer

This can be used for head to toe moisture. The lightweight concentrate works on all skin types and leaves your skin feeling nourished.

I see why people say they love the quality of Glossybox's products. You can definitely see the difference from $10 beauty boxes. This box has a total value of $70 and I am intrigued by all the products I received.

Birchbox - September 2015 - You're Beautiful

I decided that it was time to jump deeper into my beauty box subscription craze. Birchbox receives so many rave reviews, so I decided to give it a try. My first Birchbox is themed "You're Beautiful".

The box itself is a bit art deco with "you're beautiful" splayed across the top in shiny gold.

100% pure - organic coffee bean caffeine eye cream
0.3 fl oz/ 8 ml  value: $8

This anti-inflammatory, caffeine rich green tea and coffee improve the appearance of puffy under-eyes. This will certainly come in handy after long days at the office.

Anastasia Beverly Hills - perfect brow pencil in medium brown

Raw Spirit - Wild Fire eau de parfum

This is a very small pencil sample but I guess that's because of Anastasia's price tag. I like the pencil's texture and the medium brown works well with my eyebrow coloring.

This scene is inspired by the intoxicating scent of the Western Australian outback in the intense heat of summer. I enjoy the woody scent.

tre'StiQue - Correct & Cover concealer crayon in Bisque

Another tre'Stique product that is wonderful! The crayon is small enough to provide a decent amount of coverage under your eyes. It is somewhat sheer so it is better for evening skin tone rather than covering imperfections.


Salon Gioje - Keratin protein mask

This mask repairs your hair from the inside out. Use for 10 minutes to make dry, damaged hair look soft, voluminous and shiny. It is formulated with natural keratin to repair the DNA of your locks.

My first Birchbox has a total value of $41. I truly like and will use about half the products in this month's box. Overall pretty good first impression.

Target put together some of their new faces for the cooling temps.

Jane Carter - Revitalizing leave-in conditioner

Curls - Creme Brûlée whipped curl cream

This seriously smells so good that I want to eat it!! This curl defining and moisturizing cream is formulated with certified organic sweet almond milk, shea butter and aloe leaf juice. Use on freshly conditioned curls or use the following day for a refresher.

Dove - Quench Absolute creme serum

Shea Moisture - Jamaican Black Caster Oil styling lotion

This Target beauty box holds a value of $17. I do not have naturally curly hair, but I will still try some of the hair products to see their benefits. I do really like the Jane Carter leave-in conditioner.
